James J. Perry, M.D.
James J. Perry, M.D. completed his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Perry received his medical degree at Hahnemann University and was awarded the Magna Cum Laude distinction at LaSalle University in his undergraduate studies. Dr. Perry completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. He was on the Hematology-Oncology staff at Walter Reed Army Medical Center following his fellowship completion.
Dr. Perry completed 10 years of service in the Army Medical Corps in 1991 and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
Dr. Perry was an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology-Oncology at the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Wake Forest University School of Medicine from 1992-1998 where his focus was in Blood Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplantation and the treatment of Leukemia and Lymphoma.
Dr. Perry returned to the Philadelphia area in 1999. Dr. Perry is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society, the American College of Physicians (ACP), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT).
