Your cancer journey is unique. At Alliance Cancer Specialists, we understand that your cancer diagnosis and treatment will not only affect you but can also impact your family and friends who support you. During your consultation, your physician will take the time to get to know you, the details of your condition, any other medical problems, your home and support system, lifestyle and personal preferences in order to outline a treatment plan that is tailored for you, your diagnosis, and risk factors.
Hematology Diagnosis and Treatment
All Alliance Cancer Specialists physicians are board-certified in Hematology and provide evaluation and treatment for a wide variety of benign and malignant blood disorders. These include problems with red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and spleen, as well as bleeding and clotting abnormalities and immune deficiencies.
We can perform diagnostic bone marrow biopsies in our offices and have access to outstanding reference laboratories for state-of-the-art diagnostic testing of blood and bone marrow.
Our offices have the capability for outpatient treatments including intravenous iron infusions, blood cell growth factor injections, and removal of whole blood (therapeutic phlebotomy). We administer intravenous immune proteins (immunoglobulins) for patients with specific immune disorders. We also facilitate outpatient blood product transfusions (red blood cells, platelets, and blood clotting factors) in our affiliated hospitals.
In addition, we have experience in the safe outpatient administration of highly specialized therapeutic agents prescribed for certain Rheumatologic, Gastroenterology, and Neurologic conditions.
